Zamboni Driver/Maintenance (Full-time or Part-time)
Responsible for
maintaining the ice surfaces and the overall general maintenance
support of the arena.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide the maintenance for solid, safe, and clean ice surfaces.

Use
of ice edger regularly.
-
Maintain Zamboni ice resurfacers.
-
Being available for all figure skating and hockey needs, and to
identify and resolve all issues.
-
Other duties, cleaning and otherwise, as deemed necessary or as
directed.

Provide a clean and attractive environment for customers.
-
Removal of all trash from property.
-
Use
of cleaning equipment. (floor scrubbers, floor buffers, etc.)

Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications
-
Must
be at least 18 years of age
-
Must
have a valid driver's license
-
Proper use and maintenance of all related equipment and
inventory control.

A
strong understanding of the importance of job execution.

Taking responsibility for all decisions and actions, honesty and
integrity.

Organizational, coordinating, time-management, and personal
interface skills.

Job
reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.

Flexibility with work schedule- Nights, weekends, and holidays.

This
is a part-time, hourly position
We will train but previous experience
preferred!
Skate Guards/Cleaner (Part-time)
Must be able to skate.
Duties include monitoring and enforcing on/off ice rules and
regulations, monitoring ice and guest safety, giving directions,
adhering to building policies/procedures and specific event
requirements, and handling customer questions and complaints.
Weekends are a must.
Example of Duties:
-
Responsible for inspection of
ice/surrounding area prior to and immediately after session
-
Responsible for monitoring ice
conditions and inspecting for unsafe conditions.
-
Provides special direction of
information to guests in an appropriate manner.
-
Keeps entrances/exits free from
congestion and ensures that patrons are not sitting on dashers
-
Monitors facility for accidents and
unsafe conditions and reports to the appropriate personnel
immediately for maximum guest safety
-
Expected to follow the established
dress and behavior codes
-
Required to perform other duties
such as the cleanliness of the lobby, locker rooms, bathrooms,
and the bleachers.
Scorekeeper (Part-time)
$10.00-$20.00 per game - Must be responsible for knowing and
understanding the general rules of ice hockey as well as the
individual rules of each ice hockey league.
Example of Duties:

Verify and enforce team roster rules
-
Running the game clock efficiently
and correctly
-
Recording and posting all statistics
and penalties correctly on the scoresheet
Snack Bar Attendant (Part-time)
Responsible for working the snack bar
during games, practices, public skate sessions, etc.
